ARTEMIS is a parking enforcement system that helps increase parking availability, enforce parking restrictions and increase collections – contributing positively to the organizational revenues. ARTEMIS allows the enforcement office to access the information need quickly and easily with our browser-based, back office application securely from any location. The real time information allows the enforcement office to quickly identify vehicles that are parked illegally and to take appropriate action.
No special equipment is needed, each officer uses a cellular phone, connected to the server via GPRS and a mobile printer. They check that the vehicle is parked legally, by checking the details on the database using their GPRS connection. If the vehicle is parked legally the process is completed. If the vehicle is not parked legally, then the officer issues a citation and the data transfered and stored on the server (including the vehicle’s details, location and a photograph of the violation).
